The Trinity Tigers (1-0) will hit the road for the first time in the 2019 season when they travel to Abilene to take on the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys (1-0) tonight at Shelton Stadium.

Trinity opened the 2019 season with a 41-10 win over McMurry Warhawks last weekend. Tigers quarterback Wyatt Messex finished the game by throwing for 250 yards and a career-high five touchdowns, completing 18 of 25 passes.

HSU is coming off a 64-0 win at Sul Ross State as they got the shutout and limited the Lobos to just 96 yards of total offense. The Cowboys have won four straight home openers.
