AT&T Center – The San Antonio Rampage (12-6-0-0) are rolling in a month where they have historically done poorly. They pushed their winning streak to seven games and swept their in-state rivals in the process, making it even sweeter.

Rampage goaltender Dan Ellis stopped all 32 shots he faced as the Rampage shutout the Texas Stars (6-6-4-0) 3-0 in front of 4,375 at the AT&T Center on Sunday afternoon.

“Scott [Allen] and I felt this was our biggest test to date,” San Antonio head coach Tom Rowe said. “We’re going to play them a ton more times and they are going to be a better team each time we play them.”

The Rampage got on the board first when Mark Mancari tipped a pass from Connor Brickley past Texas goalie Jack Campbell to put San Antonio up 1-0 just before the first period came to an end. The silver and black took a two-goal lead in the second stanza when Brickley banged home a power play goal for his seventh tally of the season.

Drew Shore ended the scoring with an empty net goal at 17:38 to seal the 3-0 win for the Rampage.

Texas finished 1-for-3 on the power play, while San Antonio was 0-for-4. Campbell stopped 32 of 34 Rampage shots he faced for the Stars.

The Rampage will now take the week off for Thanksgiving before returning to the ice on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. for a contest with the Oklahoma City Barons at the AT&T Center.
