Dean Chynoweth relieved of coaching duties

San Antonio Rampage head coach Dean Chynoweth has been relieved of his coaching duties after one season in San Antonio, it was announced on Tuesday.

Chynoweth spent three years as head coach of the Lake Erie Monsters before coming to the Alamo City, a total of four years with the American Hockey League (AHL).

He led the Rampage to a 33-35-8-0 record and seventh place in the Pacific Division.


A search for a new Rampage head coach will begin immediately.
