With the Florida Panthers losing both of their goaltenders to injury on Tuesday night, the parent club has called upon the San Antonio Rampage for help.

Florida General Manager Dale Tallon announced the team has recalled goaltender Dan Ellis from the Rampage on Wednesday morning as well as goaltender Sam Brittain from their ECHL affiliate Cincinnati Cyclones.

Ellis spent time in the Nationa Hockey League with Dallas, Nashville, Tampa Bay, Anaheim, Carolina and Florida. He has a record of 83-76–0-17.

Rampage General Manager Eric Joyce announced they have signed goaltender Joe Howe to a professional tryout contract (PTO). Howe has played in 17 ECHL games this season with the Utah Grizzlies, Reading Royals, Rapid City Rush and Orlando Solar Bears.

The Rampage currently own a record of 31-19-5-0 (67 points) and will continue their Rodeo Road Trip tonight when they face the Charlotte Checkers inside Time Warner Cable Arena at 6 p.m.
