Blues recall Ville Husso on emergency basis

The St. Louis Blues have recalled goaltender Ville Husso from the San Antonio Rampage, the team announced on Friday morning.

The call-up is on an emergency basis after starting goaltender Carter Hutton would be missing time with a neck injury.

Husso has appeared in 33 games with San Antonio this season, posting a .926 save percentage and eighth with a 2.39 goals-against average to go along with a 13-11-0 record.

San Antonio has recalled goaltender Joe Cannata from the Colorado Eagles. While with the Eagles, he has a 2.12 goals-against average and ECHL-leading .933 save percentage. In two games with the Silver and Black, he has a 2.23 goals-against average and a .880 save percentage.

The Rampage will return to the ice tonight when they take on the Iowa Wild at 7:30 p.m.
