The UTSA Roadrunners will open the 2020 season on the road against the LSU Tigers, both schools announced on Thursday.
UTSA will face LSU on September 5, 2020, in Tiger Stadium. It will mark the first time the two schools have met in program history. UTSA Head Coach Frank Wilson was a member of the LSU coaching staff prior to coming to coach the Roadrunners in San Antonio.
Other nonconference games for UTSA in the upcoming 2020 season include Texas State, Grambling State, and Memphis.
The Roadrunners will open the 2019 season on August 31 against the UIW Cardinals in the first-ever Hometown Showdown at 5 p.m. at the Alamodome.
