San Antonio Rampage goaltender Ville Husso has been named to the 2017-18 AHL All-Rookie Team, the American Hockey League announced on Wednesday.
In his first full season in the AHL, Husso has posted a 2.32 goals against average, .926 save percentage in 37 appearances for the Silver and Black. He has a record of 15-13-5 for the Rampage in net and is the third All-Rookie Team selection in franchise history and the first since Mikko Rantanen in 2016.
The votes were cast by coaches, players and media in each of the league’s cities.
