San Antonio FC (8-0-2) will look to keep their unbeaten streak alive when they open a quick home-and-home series with the Swope Park Rangers (4-3-0) this evening on the road.

Last time out: San Antonio FC earned a 1-0 win over Phoenix Rising FC last weekend at Toyota Field. AJ  Ajeakwa’s tally stood as the lone goal in the match as SAFC continued their unbeaten streak to 10 matches, the best start in franchise history.

Still Number one: SAFC’s unbeaten streak keeps them atop the USL standings in the Western Conference. Entering play tonight, San Antonio is two points ahead of Real Monarchs SLC with 26 points.

Against Swope Park: San Antonio is looking for their first win in franchise history against the Rangers of Swope Park. All-time, SAFC is 0-2-1 against the Swope Park Rangers.

The match will no doubt be SAFC’s biggest test of the season so far. Swope Park has tough defenders and will make things difficult for San Antonio. Meanwhile, SAFC’s backline has conceded just four goals through ten matches.

San Antonio FC and Swope Park Rangers will kick things off at 7:30 p.m. Follow Red Black 90 for live updates.
