San Antonio FC has signed Fejiro Okiomah and Milton Palacios to contracts for the upcoming  2016 season, the team announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Okiomah spent time with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds during the 2015 season, where he posted one goal and two assists in 21 matches. Prior to that, he played with the Indy Eleven of the NASL and Chivas USA of MLS.

“I’m extremely excited to join SAFC,” said Okiomah. “There’s nothing better than coming back to your home state and representing it at a professional level. I know the expectations that the club, the city and most importantly the fans have for this team, and I will give all I have for the crest and the community to make sure we are successful from day one.”

Palacios spent part of the 2015 season with the San Antonio Scorpions, where he had one goal in 14 matches. Prior to that, the 27-year-old played for Honduras and Guatemala.

“Milton is a very athletic right back,” said San Antonio Head Coach Darren Powell. “He fits the kind of playing style we want to play this upcoming season. He has the ability join in on the attack, and he is also a very good 1-v-1 defender. He should be exciting to watch for the fans this season.”

San Antonio FC will open their first season in the Alamo City on the road April 3 against the Seattle Sounders 2 before returning home for their home opener on April 9 against the Swope Park Rangers at Toyota Field.
