The San Antonio Scorpions kick off a two-game home stand when they welcome the Atlanta Silverbacks to Toyota Field this evening.

San Antonio is coming off a 0-2 defeat to the Tampa Bay Rowdies last Saturday. The Scorpions never had many chances in the match as they fell eight points behind Tampa for the final playoff spot in the NASL.

Atlanta defeated the Carolina Railhawks 2-1 last weekend. Pedro Ferreira Mendes and Kyle Porter scored two goals three minutes apart to give the Silverbacks the victory.

San Antonio is 7-3-3 all-time against Atlanta, including a 4-1-0 record at Toyota Field. Back in August, the two clubs played to a 3-3 draw and earned one point.

The Scorpions and Silverbacks will kick things off at 7:30 p.m. and Stephen Anderson will have a recap. Follow @andersonstevem and @RedBlack_90 for live game updates.
