USA downs Mexico in sold out Alamodome

The U.S.Men’s National Team unbeaten streak against Mexico continued on Wednesday evening as the red, white and blue earned a 2-0 win over their Mexican rivals in front of 64,369 at the Alamodome.

After a scoreless first half, the U.S. got on the scoreboard early in the second. Jordan Morris slid the ball past Mexico goalkeeper Cirilo Saucedo in the 49th minute to put the Americans up 1-0.

Juan Agudelo sent a shot towards the net that got past Saucedo and the left post to put the United States up 2-0, where they would stay for good.


The win extended the USA’s unbeaten streak against Mexico to six games and pushed their winning streak on American soil to 21 straight games.
