The San Antonio Rampage are set to begin their Western Conference Quarterfinals series with the Oklahoma City Barons tomorrow. Who will win the series? The Rampage Central staff as well as other media members looked into their crystal ball and decided to give their predictions.

Stephen Anderson, Rampage Central – Rampage in four. The Rampage have home ice in this series that will play a key factor. The silver and black are 4-0-2 against the Barons at the AT&T Center this season and they have played well in OKC as well. I see the teams splitting the two games in Oklahoma City and returning home to win Game’s 3 and 4.

Tony Uminski, San Antonio Express-News – Going with Rampage in five. The main reason is Richard Bachman is back with the Barons. No one in OKC really gives a hoot, which will take away home ice to some degree, but Bachman has always been tough to beat for the Rampage when he was in Texas and now OKC. He shutout the Rampage in his AHL debut at the AT&T Center! Matthew Ford scores vs Rampage just about every game. throw out the Rampage record against them this season. When the Barons are right, they are a tough out. SA goes into the series on a down note 0-2-2, but should overcome the loss of Bobby Butler, who was hurt up in OKC two weeks ago.

Linda Donnely, Thunder Obsessed – I see this series going all five games. Unfortunately, I also see the Rampage ending the season for the Barons. However, if there is one thing I have learned about OKC it’s their own brand of magic. Throughout the past fives years, the team has usually managed to do what seemed to be the impossible. It feels like this is San Antonio’s year for the West, but I know to never count the Barons out. This will be a fun series for the fans in Texas and Oklahoma.

Samantha Garcia, Rampage Central – Rampage in five. The Rampage and Barons may have split the regular season, but everything goes out the window in the playoffs. I believe this series is San Antonio’s to lose. I don’t trust Ellis that much in net, but if the Rampage defense can stand tall and play well then the silver and black should advance.
Well, there you have it. One thing we can predict: It will be a great series.
