Goalkeeper Jon Kempin called to U.S. Camp

San Antonio Scorpions goalkeeper Jon Kempin is trading in the red and black for the nation’s colors. Kempin will travel to California for the U-23s training camp.

Kempin is on loan from Sporting Kansas City, where he has a 1.75 goals against average and a 41.7 save percentage. He played a total of 315 minutes for the club.

The Scorpions are currently 0-2-0 (0 points) on the season and will return to the pitch on Saturday for their first road game of the season as they take on Minnesota United at 7 p.m.
