The American Hockey League announced on Friday suspensions and the result is the Silver and Black will be without Shane O’Brien when he returns from the Florida Panthers.
Shane O’Brien has been suspended two games for a charging incident on December 9 when the San Antonio Rampage faced the Chicago Wolves at the AT&T Center.
Both suspensions were assessed under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).
O’Brien will serve his suspension once he returns to AHL duty from the NHL’s Florida Panthers.
The Rampage currently own a 14-8-2-0 record good for 30 points and fourth in the Western Conference. They will face off against the Iowa Wild tonight at 7 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center.
