The San Antonio Rampage (15-8-2-0, 32 points) continue their four game road trip tonight when they take on the Charlotte Checkers (9-14-2-0, 20 points) for a quick two-game series.
San Antonio is coming off a 3-0 shutout win over the Iowa Wild last Friday night. Goaltender Dan Ellis stopped all 30 shots he faced in the victory and the Rampage got goals from Connor Brickley, Mackenzie Weegar and Bobby Butler.
Charlotte enters the game coming off a 4-3 win over the Oklahoma City Barons on Thursday night. Jared Staal tallied his fifth goal of the year in the win and put the Checkers up for good with the tally.
This is the third meeting of the season between the two teams with San Antonio owning a 2-0-0-0 record against the Carolina Hurricanes affiliate, with both wins coming by one goal.
