The San Antonio Rampage (13-6-1-0, 27 points) return to the ice tonight when they face the Utica Comets (15-5-3-0, 33 points) at 7:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
This is the third meeting of the season between the two teams, the Silver and Black are 0-2 against the Vancouver Canucks affiliate. San Antonio is one point behind the Oklahoma City Barons for first place in the West Division.
Utica enters the game with a 4-3 overtime win against the defending champion Texas Stars. Cal O’Reilly netted the game-winning goal in the extra frame.
The Rampage come into the contest with a 5-4 shootout win over the Iowa Wild on Sunday afternoon. Goaltender Michael Houser stopped two of three Iowa shooters in the skills competition and Mark Mancari tallied the game-winner.
San Antonio is 2-2-0-0 overall against Utica and fell 5-2 to the Comets on October 24 on the road. The Silver and Black were shutout 3-0 at home when former Rampage goaltender Jacob Markstrom was in the net for Utica.
