The San Antonio Rampage (14-7-2-0) will look to return to their winning ways when they take on the Iowa Wild (6-15-1-1) this evening for the first game of a quick two game series. This is the third meeting between the two teams this season, the Silver and Black won both games against the Minnesota Wild affiliate and will face them three more times before the season ends.
The Rampage enter the game coming off a 6-2 loss to the Chicago Wolves on Tuesday evening at the AT&T Center, the loss was the first in regulation for San Antonio since November 7 against Toronto. Drew Shore continued his scoring streak and goaltender Dan Ellis made 17 saves on 23 shots in the loss.
Iowa enters the game coming off a come from behind win over the Charlotte Checkers. San Antonio is 3-1-1-3 overall against the Wild with 25 goals for and goals against.
