Billy Forbes re-signed and will be returning to the San Antonio Scorpions for the 2016 season, it was announced on Tuesday.
“Billy is one of the most exciting players to ever wear a Scorpions uniform,” team president & general manager Howard Cornfield said. “He was once again amongst the top creative players in our league and he will be a core part of our 2016 team. I’m very excited for our fans that they’ll be able to continue watching Billy’s development as a player at Toyota Field.”
Forbes scored five goals and tallying eight assists in 27 games and 1,858 minutes in the 2015 campaign.
