Avalanche trade Chris Bigras to New York Rangers

The Colorado Avalanche have traded defenseman Chris Bigras to the New York Rangers in exchange for defenseman Ryan Graves, the team announced on Monday.

Graves has spent the 2017-18 season with the Hartford Wolf Pack, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Rangers. While with the AHL club, he recorded four goals and seven assists in 57 games with Hartford.

Overall, the 22-year-old has 62 points (21g/41a) in 207 career AHL contests with Hartford.


The Rampage are now 27-21-7-0 on the season and will return to the ice tonight against the San Diego Gulls at 9 p.m.
