The Colorado Avalanche have signed forward Andrew Agozzino and defenseman David Warsofsky as well as goaltender Joe Cannata to contracts for the upcoming season, the team announced on Saturday.
Agozzino returns to Colorado for his second stint with the team. He was with the Avalanche from 2012-2016 as he split time with the clubs AHL affiliates Lake Erie Monsters and San Antonio Rampage, posting 79 goals and 115 assists.
Cannata spent the majority of the 2016-17 season with the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League before being traded to Colorado. He posted a 3.22 goals against average and a .876 save percentage while with the Bears. In six games with San Antonio, he had a 3.60 goals against average and a .872 save percentage.
Warsofsky spent the 2016-17 season with the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He posted 47 points with 16 goals and 31 assists.
Agozzino and Warsofsky signed two-year contracts through the 2018-19 season, while Cannata has a one-year deal.
