Avalanche sign three more to roster


The Colorado Avalanche have signed forwards Gabriel Bourque and Felix Girard and defenseman Duncan Siemens to one-year contracts, the team announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Bourque spent the 2016-17 season with the San Antonio Rampage, tallying an AHL career-high 23 points and 10 goals. The 26-year-old also spent time in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals, where he totaled 37 goals and 60 assists.

Girard tallied seven goals and 13 assists with the Rampage in 2016-17 season. He had eight points with the Milwaukee Admirals, posting 3 goals and 5 assists in 35 games.

Siemens spent the majority of the 2016-17 season with the Rampage. The 23-year-old made his NHL debut against the Chicago Blackhawks on April 11, 2015.

The Rampage will open the 2017-18 regular season on October 7 against the Ontario Reign at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
