Avalanche sign forward Joey Hishon


He’s back! The Colorado Avalanche have signed forward Joey Hishon to a one-year contract, the team announced on Monday.

Hishon most of last season with the Lake Erie Monsters, tallying 16 goals, 20 assists and 36 points in 53 games. He appeared in 13 games for the Avalanche last season, posting a goal and assist with two points. Prior to that, Hishon was part of the 2010-11 Ontario Hockey League’s First All-Star Team.

The Rampage will return to the ice for the 2015-16 season in October.
