Avalanche recall goaltender Spencer Martin


The Colorado Avalanche have recalled goaltender Spencer Martin from the San Antonio Rampage, the team announced on Friday afternoon.

In 34 games with San Antonio this season, Martin posted a 14-15-4 record, .893 save percentage and 3.10 goals-against average. He played in three contests with the Avalanche, posting a .865 save percentage and 4.35 goals-against average.

San Antonio also recalled Sam Brittain from the Colorado Eagles, where he posted a 14-9-0 record, .897 save percentage and 3.19 goals-against average in 27 appearances.

The Rampage will return to the ice tonight and Saturday for their final two games of the season against their in-state rivals, the Texas Stars.
