The Colorado Avalanche have recalled goaltender Calvin Pickard from their AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage, it was announced on Saturday.
Pickard has a 9-8-0 record with San Antonio this season and has a 2.75 goals against average and a .917 save percentage. He has an .840 save percentage through two games with the Avalanche this season.
San Antonio announced they have recalled Spencer Martin from their ECHL affiliate, the Fort Wayne Komets to fill in for Pickard.
Martin has a 2-1-0 record with the Rampage and has a 2.76 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.
The Rampage are 13-10-6-0 on the season and will return to the ice tonight at 7 p.m. to face the Texas Stars inside Cedar Park Center.
