Avalanche reassign F Mikko Rantanen to Rampage


The Colorado Avalanche announced on Thursday, the team has reassigned forward Mikko Rantanen to the San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, the team has also recalled Dennis Everburg from San Antonio.

Rantanen was selected 10th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by Colorado. The 18-year-old has spent the previous three seasons playing for TPS Turku of the Finnish Elite League.

The Rampage are currently 2-0-1-0 (5 points) on the season and will return to the ice on Saturday to welcome the Stockton Heat to the AT&T Center at 7 p.m. for the team’s opener.
