Avalanche reassign Andrei Mironov to Rampage


The Colorado Avalanche have reassigned defenseman Andrei Mironov to the San Antonio Rampage, the team announced late Thursday afternoon.

Mironov began his career with the Avalanche, making his debut on October 5 against the New York Rangers. The 23-year-old played in the KHL and won the KHL Gagarin Cup Championship and won All-Star honors during the 2014-15 season.

The Rampage are 2-1-0-0 on the season and will return to the ice on Friday when they open their first “three in three” of the season against the Texas Stars at the H-E-B Center.
