New blood – July 1, 1:01 p.m. CT: According to Elliotte Friedman, the Avalanche signed Ryan Stanton and Turner Elson to two-way deals. Colorado agreed on a two-year deal with Joe Colborne and one-year deal with Fedor Tyutin, according to Mike Chambers. Dublin’s Trent Vogelhuber signs a two-way contract with the Avalanche says Bob McKenzie.
Agozzino signs in St. Louis – July 1, 1:07 p.m. CT: Several members of last season’s Rampage team are on the move. Nick Kypreos reports Andrew Agozzino signs a 1-year deal with the St. Louis Blues. This adds to the growing list of Maxim Noreau, Dennis Everberg, Joey Hishon, and Roman Will leaving the Silver and Black.
Cannone signs with Minnesota Wild – July 1, 1:46 p.m. CT – Pat Cannone will likely head to Iowa after spending the past two years in Chicago with the Wolves. He averaged 20 goals and 52 points in 73 games in the 2015-16 season.
Greer inks deal with Avs – July 1, 3:46 p.m. CT – The Avalanche confirmed they have signed A.J. Greer to a three-year, entry level contract. The 19-year-old was Colorado’s second-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft and played with Boston University. Mike Chambers reports Greer will begin his ELC in San Antonio or Colorado next season.
Rendulic signs deal in Canada – July 1, 4:37 p.m. CT – Borna Rendulic signs with the Vancouver Canucks and will likely spend next season with the Utica Comets. He spent 68 games with San Antonio, where he registered 38 points.
Street reaches deal with Red Wings – July 1, 4:40 p.m. CT – Ben Street agrees on a deal with the Detroit Red Wings after spending just 15 games with the Rampage last season. He was the team captain and totaled 21 points.
Adding to the first line – July 1, 5:11 p.m. CT – The Avalanche signed goaltender Jeremy Smith, forwards Jim O’Brien & Mike Sislo, and forward Joe Whitney. Dan Weiss reports that this will likely be the first line for the Rampage next season.
Petryk signs in Colorado – July 1, 5:12 p.m. CT – Reid Petryk inked a two-year NHL contract with the Avalanche. Likely seeing his days in San Antonio come to an end.
