Avalanche and Rampage make roster moves

The Colorado Avalanche and San Antonio Rampage have both made roster moves, the teams announced on Friday.

San Antonio has recalled goaltender Sam Brittain from the Colorado Eagles (ECHL) and reassigned forward Julien Nantel. The recall of Brittain comes after backup goaltender Ville Husso was injured in the first period of Wednesday night’s 4-3 loss to the Texas Stars.

Brittain has a 3-3-0 record along with a 3.33 goals-against average and .894 save percentage in seven games with the Colorado Eagles.

Additionally, the Avalanche have reassigned forward Tyson Jost to the Rampage. Jost has posted a goal and an assist in six games with the Avalanche this season.

Colorado also recalled forward Dominic Toninato from the Rampage on Friday afternoon. In 13 games with San Antonio, the forward has scored three goals and dished out three assists.

The Rampage are currently 9-5-1-0 on the season and will return to the ice tomorrow night when they take on the Texas Stars at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
