Avalanche acquire Taylor Beck


The Colorado Avalanche have acquired forward Taylor Beck from the New York Islanders in exchange for Marc-Andre Cliche, the team announced on Monday afternoon.

Beck has spent this season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, recording 16 goals and 17 assists in 46 games and one game with the Islanders this season. Prior to that, he spent the past season with the Nashville Predators organization and posted eight goals and eight assists in the 2014-15 season.

The Rampage are currently 24-26-8-0 (56 points, 0.483%) on the season and will return to the ice on Friday night when they welcome the Manitoba Moose to the AT&T Center at 7:30 p.m. for Military Appreciation Night.
