The Colorado Avalanche have traded Cody Corbett to the Washington Capitals in exchange for goaltender Joe Cannata, the team announced today.
Cannata has spent the majority of his time with the AHL’s Hershey Bears, posting a 11-5-1 record in 22 games with a 3.22 goals-against average and a .876 save percentage.
The Rampage will return to the ice this evening at the AT&T Center.
