Alex Petrovic is going from the AHL All-Star Classic to the National Hockey League.

Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced on Wednesday the team has recalled Petrovic from the San Antonio Rampage.

The defenseman has played in 39 games with San Antonio has totaled 19 points so far in the season. He represented the Silver and Black at the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic and tallied two assists for the Western Conference.


The Rampage will resume the second half of the season tomorrow when the team hits the ice to take on their in-state rival Texas Stars at 7:30 p.m. inside the Cedar Park Center.
